About us

Roads are safer when licences are earned

DigiChalak exists because the difference between a licence that was earned and one that was arranged is measured in lives. We build the technology that makes the honest path the easy path.

Why this matters

The most dangerous roads in the world run on untested drivers

India loses more people to road crashes than any other country — official MoRTH reporting has recorded over 1.7 lakh deaths in a single year, and driver behaviour is cited as the dominant cause in the overwhelming majority of them.

For decades, the licence pipeline has been part of the problem: crowded RTO test slots, minutes-long evaluations, and a market where a certificate could sometimes be easier to buy than to earn. The 2021 reforms — accredited training centres with fixed syllabi and automated evaluation — are the most serious fix India has attempted.

But rules only work when they're easy to follow and hard to fake. That's the part we build: the sensors, software and evidence chains that make real training verifiable — and make cutting corners pointless.

What we believe

Three convictions behind every feature

01

Measurement beats supervision

A sensor doesn't get tired, doesn't know your uncle, and doesn't round up. Objective measurement is the only fairness that scales.

02

Compliance should be a by-product

If an operator has to choose between running the business and maintaining the records, records lose. So we make the records write themselves.

03

Build for Bharat's ground truth

Intermittent internet, mixed fleets, staff who aren't IT engineers, learners on budget phones in two languages. If it doesn't work there, it doesn't work.

The company

Built by Digiboard Tech

DigiChalak is built by Digiboard Tech Pvt Ltd, an Indian technology company. The platform grew out of years spent instrumenting real driving-test tracks — watching where sensors fail, where records drift, and where honest operators lose time to paperwork.

We are now onboarding founding centres across India: operators who want their district's most trusted training centre, and state programmes that want oversight they can actually see. If that's you, we'd like to talk.
